Itinerary
This 10-day adventure combines the best of Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit with the turquoise waters of Zanzibar Island. You’ll explore legendary wildlife destinations Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Olduvai Gorge before flying to the spice island of Zanzibar to unwind on pristine white-sand beaches.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll meet your Raventure driver-guide, who will transfer you to Arusha City. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is a vibrant hub with a comfortable climate and the gateway to Tanzania’s most famous national parks. After a safari briefing, you’ll relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and massive herds of elephants. The Tarangire River provides a lifeline for wildlife, attracting lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park before heading to your lodge.

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Famous for tree-climbing lions and flamingos, the park also offers diverse habitats ranging from groundwater forests to savannahs. Spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and more than 350 bird species. Later, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands into the legendary Serengeti. En route, enjoy stunning views and a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill. An afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti introduces you to vast plains, big cats, grazing herds, and iconic Serengeti landscapes.

Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) and abundant resident wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes. The Serengeti’s endless horizons make every moment unforgettable.

After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wonder, often called “Africa’s Eden.” Encounter the Big Five and up to 30,000 animals living within the crater floor. In the evening, return to Karatu.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before transferring to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beachfront resort.
